I love these kinds of drops! Nice vocals too. Also, is this coming to Spotify soon?

Zoftle responds:

The song releases in stores on July 4th

Cool intro! I don’t really think this is dubstep though. The whole song has a really cool beat though and overall is really good. Also, “Stop trying to tell me what to do!” sounded good.

The buildup has a slight resemblance of Press Start by MDK’s buildup. I really like the melody and the drops are really good. I really like this style of music too!

YESSSSSS! That first drop is insane!!! You used everything so well! Nice job. The second drop is sick too. The only thing I would change is the buildups. I usually like when there is like 1 measure of “empty” at the end of the buildup before the drop. Other than that, great job! I love this so much!!!

Casporb responds:

Thank you! Yeah I should probably work on my buildups next...

Holy crap that drop hits hard!!! I am in love with this! I like the intro, not too long drop isn’t too sudden, it just works perfectly. Also, I like how you used the second variation of the drop. The transition into the outro is pretty good too. Your stuff keep getting better dude!

Casporb responds:

That stuff you told me about making the drops hit harder really did help.
Respect.

Wow, this a huge improvement!!! A good break from things every once in a while can help us producers a lot. I love the melody! The drop is great too, but I think it would be better if you switched it up a bit at the second drop. Other than that, I don’t have much else to say. Keep it up!

Casporb responds:

Wow thanks a lot!

Sounds very Xtrullor-y with the bass sounds and stuff. I love this!!!

Dude I want to make an alien/space themed song so bad! 1:25 is perfect. I love that vocal effect or whatever that is. Then the hi hat coming super fast and stuff it just works so well! Keep it up!!!

Casporb responds:

Thanks this song has got an insanely low score wtf

So I started feeling like my drops weren’t powerful enough, and looked up the definition. The drop in a song usually includes a change in rhythm or melody and and should be the climax of the song. Taking this into consideration, I also found that to make the drop more powerful, I can tone down everything before it so that it hits harder. When I start most of my songs, I start with the drop so the I already have the loudest bit done and then I can work backwards. This has really helped me and I think you could benefit from it as well! 4 stars because the buildup seems to be more intense than the drop itself. Enough about that, I really like the melody. It has a really nice classic video game sound and the drums do a good job too. Another thing, most dubstep songs have a variation of the first drop at the end and, some but not all, bring back the first drop after that. Keep going dude! Keep working on your music!

Casporb responds:

Thanks a lot! =) You keep working on yours! Yours is awesome!

Can I use this for a GD level?
